Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (1/19)

Happy Friday! ☺️ Book Orders came home today. Please make sure orders are submitted by noon on Friday, January 26. Here’s the direct link to order!  

Don't forget that all Market Day projects are due on Monday! Students also need to bring $1.00 in dimes/nickels to shop! We are going to do our Market Day on Thursday (instead of Friday, as previously mentioned), but will be using their products all week in class to prepare.

One Book One School is going strong! Check out the chapters read by many Hutchings Teachers! Here's the OBOS Calendar, if you need it for reference. Today is the LAST day to place “Roo Crew” orders! 

A few reminders:

• Market Day projects are due Monday, January 22. This is an at-home project.
• Order your Yearbooks! They're $7 and the info is coming home today! The Yearbook ID Code is 12174924.
• If you are interested in sending in white lunch bags for a snowflake craft coming up, we still need one more set. I added them to our Classroom Amazon Wish List. We can also use individually wrapped snacks like goldfish. We're also running low on tissues and it's definitely sniffle season! Thank you for all your donations for our classroom. I REALLY appreciate your support!
• Please make sure your kiddos bring their snow gear when the weather is cold and snowy! They cannot play in the snow without snowpants and boots.

We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade. Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
