Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (1/26)

Happy Friday! It's been a short week, with two snow/ice days! Market Day yesterday was tons of fun!! 

Chaperones for our Frog and Toad field trip will be: Mrs. Harrington, Mrs. Huntoon, and Mrs. Shaw! Thank you for your interest in chaperoning our trip! We will have another field trip in May and lots of chaperone opportunities for that one! 

One Book One School is going strong! Check out the chapters read by many Hutchings Teachers! Here's the OBOS Calendar, if you need it for reference.  

A few reminders:

• Order your Yearbooks! They're $7. Students will only receive a yearbook if one is ordered online. The Yearbook ID Code is 12174924.
• If you are interested in sending in white lunch bags for a snowflake craft coming up, we still need one more set. I added them to our Classroom Amazon Wish List. We can also use individually wrapped snacks like goldfish. We're also running low on tissues and it's definitely sniffle season! Thank you for all your donations for our classroom. I REALLY appreciate your support!
• Please make sure your kiddos bring their snow gear when the weather is cold and snowy! They cannot play in the snow without snowpants and boots.

We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade. Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
