Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (2/11)

Hi, families! Happy Thursday! I wanted to send the update a day early to make sure everyone is on the same page for our distance learning day tomorrow. Students will be working at home and can complete the activities at their own pace. They have recieved instructions for the work they need to do tomorrow at home. There is no in-school instruction tomorrow. Students will receive this checklist tomorrow morning on Seesaw to help keep them on task. The Spelling Test video is on the second page of the Distance Learning activity in Seesaw. For independent reading, students may read a physical book or on Epic. The link to Epic is on page 3 of the Distance Learning activity. The instructions for each page of the Valentine packet are on page 4 of the same activity in Seesaw. 

Our second graders will turn in their completed Spelling Test and Valentine packet on Tuesday. We went over all of this in class, so there shouldn't be any confusion. Remember, there is no school on Monday, February 15, due to President's Day. Students should also turn in their fluency from this week on Tuesday, if they did not turn it in today.

On Wednesday, March 10, at 6 p.m., each elementary school will host a virtual meet and greet for parents. Information on the meet and greet will be shared at a later date.
