Hi, families! We had a great week! Your kiddos may have told you I was out today. This was not planned. I was informed late Thursday evening that the dental hygienist my daughter and I saw on Monday tested positive for covid-19. Therefore, as long as I continue not to show symptoms, I will be quarantined through next Thursday. I will be back at school on Friday. I will be working closely with Ms. Abowd to make sure our classroom runs as normal. Ms. Abowd has been doing a wonderful job student teaching, and I am confident she will do well next week. Our building sub will also be in the classroom helping teach and run things. I will be checking in often throughout the day and will be available if they need anything. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Ms. Abowd on Seesaw or via email (abowda@howellschools.com) if you need anything. I will be available via Seesaw and email, as well.
