Happy Friday! We had a great third week of school! :)
Next week is our first FULL 5-day week, so we will dive into content! We are beginning homework, fluency, and spelling! Each night Monday through Thursday, students will have a one-minute fluency passage to read and a few questions to answer on the back. I will send a Seesaw video explaining all the details on Monday! Spelling tests will be on Fridays.
Monday is Patriot's Day, so we are going to have our first Spirit Day! Encourage your kiddos to wear red, white, and blue!
If you haven't sent your family picture in, you can still do so. I've only received about half. You can email it to me, if that's easier! :)
Important Dates:
*October 19--Q1 ends
*October 20--No School (Fall Break)
The complete HPS Calendar can be found HERE!
Spelling--List 1 (am, went, are, this, look, for)

Please don't forget:
We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
