Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (10/24)

We had fun with our UM vs MSU Spirit Day today! GO GREEN! 💚

 

We also enjoyed doing some lemon observtions today in science this afternoon!

Halloween is next week! If you would like to contribute to the Halloween Fun, please check out our Halloween Sign-up! There are a couple slots still open! We are going to do some crafts, put on our costumes and have snacks after morning recess, then enjoy the Monsters Inc. movie and popcorn in the afternoon. Thank you in advance for your donations! I really appreciate you!!

Join the PTO and Mrs. Shultz for a night of Halloween fun tonight (10/24) from 5:30-7:30pm! We will have dancing, activity stations for those kids who don't want to dance, concessions (cash only), and more! Come dressed in a costume and get an extra entry into our prize raffle drawing! Mrs. Shultz has collected a lot of goodies for our raffle drawing. Entries will be $1 cash only.

The event is free to attend but please consider any amount of donation to help with our music room needs. This can be cash or we will have a QR code for donations around the event.

If you would like to help in our classroom this year, please see our Classroom Volunteer Sign-up! Make sure to fill out the volunteer form and turn into the office BEFORE you volunteer! Please limit sign-ups to twice per month, so all parents have a chance. Spots will become available 60 days out, so make sure to check back if everything is currently filled.

• We do not celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade. You are welcome to send in a pencil or small trinket for your child to pass out if you would like, but I will make his/her day special regardless! Thank you for understanding!
• Don't forget: students need a healthy snack and a secure water bottle at school each day!
