Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (9/27)

Happy Friday! We had a great week! We are getting excited for the Husky Hustle, which is next Friday!! Keep those donations coming! Our class is doing a fantastic job with fundraising! Even a $5 donation will enter your child in the drawing for a free Hutchings shirt and help our classroom! Once I receive the times for the Hustle, I'll share them out on Seesaw. 

Reminders:

• If you are able to be our parent representative and attend PTO meetings, please let me know! No one has volunteered yet and there is a meeting soon (10/7). This could be a shared position, so if you are available for even some of the meetings, please let me know that! We are hoping to have representation from each classroom for each PTO meeting. 
• If you would like to volunteer in our classroom this year, please make sure you have filled out all the paperwork and have been cleared in the office before signing up! Here is the sign-up for Classroom Volunteers!

Husky Hustle!

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and is helping us reach our goal for the Husky Hustle Fundraiser! We have 14 days left for donations and are officially at 47.51% of our goal! If every student donates just $50 we will have no trouble reaching our goal. This money is used for student field trips, yearbooks, teacher supplies, student/school events, etc. We really want to make this fundraiser a success to ensure we are able to give back to our wonderful school!

We do not celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade. You are welcome to send in a pencil, small toy, or trinket for your child to pass out, if you wish! We will make sure their day is special regardless! 🎉
