Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (2/23)

Happy Friday! We had three awesome Community Speakers on Thursday! Dr. Stephanie, Police Sergeant Racine, and Fire Captain Piskorowski taught us some awesome things about their jobs! Check Seesaw for the picture link I sent Thursday. 

Please note: I will be out of the classroom Thursday, February 29 through Tuesday, March 5. I am confident that your kiddos will be in GREAT hands with Ms. Bertolin and Mrs. Olvin!😊 Please contact the office with any schedule changes. I will have limited access to Seesaw/email.  

A few reminders:

• Spring Conferences are March 14. I will reach out if I need to schedule a spring conference with you. If you would like to meet but have not heard from me, please let me know.

• Order your Yearbooks! They're $7. Students will only receive a yearbook if one is ordered online. The Yearbook ID Code is 12174924.

• Please make sure your kiddos have a coat and/or sweatshirt! Our classroom is often chilly and it's usually chilly in the morning for recess. Students are expected to wear their coats if it is less than 50 degrees. We go to morning recess at 9:30 and it's definitely chilly! Please make sure students have coats until it's consistently over 50. Thank you!!

We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade. Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
