Happy Thursday! Can't believe we're already through week 3! Your kiddos are doing an excellent job in 2nd grade! Reminder: There is NO school tomorrow, Friday, September 4 or Monday, September 7 due to Labor Day.
Please remind your child to check Seesaw each weekday evening for homework. (No homework this weekend.) We are trying to streamline homework on Seesaw this year. You may need to completely close out of the app and restart it for the activity to show up on their account, if it is not there when you log in.

Reading: Taking Charge of Reading (fluency, longer phrases, comprehension)
Writing: Complete Sentences, Friendly Letters
Spelling: Phonics (Snap Words, R-controlled vowels)
Math: Numbers All Around (math boxes, even/odd numbers)
Science: Measuring Matters (length/width)
Social Studies: Me on the Map! (maps, globes, hemispheres) *Test Friday 9/11*
