We had a GREAT first week back to school! We've been working on getting to know each other this week! Next week we'll start jumping into content here and there, along with building our classroom community!

Please make sure you are connected on Seesaw! That is where I focus my primary communication and would like ALL parents connected! Once we have enough ipads for all students, they will start posting classroom work on Seesaw. They LOVE parent comments, so I hope you can all get connected there soon! :)
Please see our classroom wishlist, if you'd like to donate books or snacks to our classroom. We are also in need a package of gummy worms and a package of gummy lifesavers for a science activity next week. If you are able to send in either of those items, please let me know! I really appreciate all the donations so far!
The Mum fundrasier has begun! There is a flyer with more Information coming home today in your child's take-home folder.
Next Week:
- Math: Numbers All Around, number scrolls
- Science: What is a Scientist?
- Social Studies: Where in the world is our Community?
- ELA: We're All Wonders, Class contract
- No School Friday, 8/29, or Monday, 9/1, for Labor Day Weekend
Please note:
- We do not celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade, due to several different food allergies. You are welcome to send in a pencil or small trinket for your child to pass out if you would like, but I will make his/her day special regardless! Thank you for understanding!
- We will not have Roo visit our classroom very often because we have a handful of students with dog allergies, but she will be around school and your kiddos will get to spend time with her. If you're interested in donating something to Roo, here's Roo's Wishlist.
Have a wonderful weekend! 😎
