Hello, families! We had a great week! :)

Next Week:
Spelling--2nd grade words List 2Reading--Reading in Bigger ScoopsWriting--Narrative Writing (building writing stamina)Math--Review, Test 1 WednesdaySocial Studies--Me on the MapScience--Landforms
Reminders:
- We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
- Students need a healthy nut-free snack each morning. I have a small supply of individually wrapped snacks to pass out when students forget from time to time, but not enough to supply everyone every day. That being said, if you're interested in sending in some individually wrapped treats like goldfish, skinny pop, pretzels, etc to help stock my "classroom pantry" I would appreciate it greatly!!
- Students should have a water bottle with a closable lid/top! It helps with not having to frequent the drinking fountain. Thank you!
Happy weekend!! :)
