Happy Thursday! I hope you enjoyed your "no power" day and everyone has their power restored! Don't forget that we have NO SCHOOL Friday and Monday, in observance of Labor Day! Enjoy your long weekend! :)
Thank you for replying to my email and seesaw updates last week so I know who is connected! If you didn't have the chance, please send me a quick note on email or seesaw and let me know that you received my update! Thank you! I will continue posting in both places to make sure everyone receives all our important 2nd grade happenings!!
- Please make sure to check Seesaw regularly! We are going to be posting more in the coming weeks! Students love to see comments from their families! :)
- Nightly Fluency and homework will begin the week of September 12.
- We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
- Students need a healthy nut-free snack each morning. I have a small supply of individually wrapped snacks to pass out when students forget from time to time, but not enough to supply everyone every day. That being said, if you're interested in sending in some individually wrapped treats like goldfish, skinny pop, pretzels, etc to help stock my "classroom pantry" I would appreciate it greatly!!
- Students should have a water bottle with a closable lid/top! It helps with not having to frequent the drinking fountain. Thank you!
