The Husky Hustle was SO much fun! PTO did a great job with all the fun stations and activities! We ended the fun with cider and donuts! You can still donate HERE!

Please make sure to sign up for a Fall Parent Teacher Conference! There is only one slot available per student. You will receive a google invite once you have selected your preferred time. If you need to switch your conference to google meet or a phone conference, please let me know before noon on the day of your scheduled conference. Thank you!
Students are bringing home their activity book pages from CKLA Knowledge Domain 1 (Fortunes and Feats: Fairy Tales and Tall Tales) today in their folders. These are pages we completed together. Some may be blank because we did not have the chance to complete them in class. They are NOT homework and I do not need them back. Please use them as a talking point to discover all the fun stories we read about in our first domain!
Next Week:
- Math: Unit 2--Addition Fact Strategies
- Science: Parts of a Plant
- Social Studies: Natural Resources, Physical Geography, & Climate

Please note:
- We do not celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade, due to several different food allergies. You are welcome to send in a pencil or small trinket for your child to pass out if you would like, but I will make his/her day special regardless! Thank you for understanding!
- Don't forget: students need a healthy snack and a secure water bottle at school each day!
