Happy Friday! We spent some time this week reflecting on the things in which we are grateful! Thank you for sharing your kiddos with me! I am so grateful to be their teacher! 🧡 

Book orders came home with your child and are due by noon on 11/14! Books make GREAT gifts! Let me know if you place an order that you would like me to keep secret. I can put down in the office for you to pick up at your convenience! Share our site with grandparents and family members, too! When you purchase books, you help our class earn books, too! Saturday is the LAST DAY to purchase tickets for our AMAZING Squishmallow Basket! You can purchase your raffle basket tickets through November 9! Thank you for all your donations and support! 

A few reminders:

• The weather is getting chilly, especially in the morning during morning recess. PLEASE make sure your child has a coat or sweatshirt for morning recess. The rule is that they wear coats when the temp is 50 or lower. Thank you for your support!
• I am still looking for a parent representative to attend PTO meetings. Please let me know if you are willing to serve in this capacity! There is a meeting next week!
• If you would like to volunteer in our classroom this year, please make sure you have filled out all the paperwork and have been cleared in the office before signing up! Here is the sign-up for Classroom Volunteers! 
• Please note: We do not celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade. You are welcome to send in a pencil, small toy, or trinket for your child to pass out, if you wish! We will make sure their day is special regardless! 🎉
