Welcome to 2nd grade!

We had a great first week of 2nd grade!! We are learning a lot about each other and how to work as a class family! Your kiddos are such a great group and I am so blessed to be their teacher!!

I will send a Weekly Update each week to help keep you informed. This is a great place to look with questions, too! I have the link embedded in my email signature (mrsburch1133.blogspot.com) and will send it via Seesaw each week when I have completed the Update. Thank you for taking a minute to read!

Speaking of Seesaw--if you are not connected, please let me know! That is where I will do my primary communication throughout the school year, so I want to make sure ALL parents are connected! Also your kiddos LOVE when you comment on their posts. We will start posting on Seesaw next week.

Next week we have four full days (no school Friday for Labor Day). Please make sure your child eats a good breakfast. He/She may eat breakfast at school, if you wish. Breakfast and lunch are free again for HPS students this year!

Don't forget a healthy morning snack (nut-free, please)! If you would like to donate individually wrapped snacks to our classroom, I have added some options to our Classroom Wish List. You can also send in any other individually wrapped nut-free snacks you would like! I like to keep a little stash in case students forget a snack.

Reach out anytime! I'm excited to partner with you on your child's 2nd grade journey! ☺️
