Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (2/9)

Hi, families! Happy Friday! I hope you're enjoying the sunshine! We took 15 minutes extra at recess this morning to play and enjoy. It was lovely!! ☀️

Spring Conferences are March 14. I will be reaching out if I need to schedule a spring conference with you. If you would like to meet but do not hear from me, please let me know!  

A few reminders:

• We will not be having a formal party, but will be exchanging Valentines on February 14. Please see the info below for details. (Also sent home as a paper copy 2/2.)

  

• One Book One School is finishing up next week ! Check out the chapters read by many Hutchings Teachers! Here's the OBOS Calendar, if you need it for reference.  
• Order your Yearbooks! They're $7. Students will only receive a yearbook if one is ordered online. The Yearbook ID Code is 12174924.
• Please make sure your kiddos have a coat and/or sweatshirt! Our classroom is often chilly and it's usually chilly in the morning for recess. 
• Roo will be back to Hutchings before we know it!! 🐾 If you would like to purchase an item for Roo's return, please visit Roo's Amazon Wish List!

We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade. Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
