Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (11/10)

Happy Friday!! We decided on junk food to accompany our movie party! Students may bring a junk food snack and a pop/juice on Friday, November 17! We will decide on a G movie to watch that day. 

I did not have a chance to put the book order in yet, so if you still wanted to order, please do! I'll probably work on that tomorrow morning. Books make GREAT gifts! If you place an order that you want to keep a surprise, please let me know and I'll put in the office for you when it arrives! Here's the direct link to place your orders!

Our Annual Food Drive has begun! Our class has 66 items already! Awesome job! Each class that earns 200 items, will receive a class party! I know we can do it!

*November 17--Decade's Day (bring a canned food or $1 to participate)  
*November 22-24--No School (Thanksgiving Break)    
*December 1--Crazy Hair/Hat Day (bring a canned food or $1 to participate)  
*December 21--Holiday Class Party (more details TBA)
*December 25-January 7: Holiday Break!     
*January 8, 2024--School resumes

Please don't forget:

We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
