Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (10/6)

TGIF! We had a nice week! Thank you for the snack donations this week! Any time you'd like to send in individually wrapped snack donations, we'll take them! :) 

I added some supplies needed to our Classroom Wish List for Halloween crafts. Thank you in advance for your donations!

Fall Parent/Teacher conferences are on Thursday, October 26 and Thursday, November 2. If you haven't signed up for a time slot, please do so as soon as possible! Thank you! I look forward to meeting with you!

Book Orders are coming home today! If you choose to order, make sure to do so by Friday, October 13, at noon! All ordering is done online. Our class code is GZKBK. Here's the direct link to order from the book order!

Huchings is having a PINK Spirit Day on Friday, October 13! Wear PINK to support Cancer research!

We are going on a field trip Friday, November 3. The kids have the slip in their folders, but I didn't have the chance to explain it to them! I will do that on Monday!

PTO is hosting a Husky Hustle Fun Run on Thursday, October 19! REGISTER YOUR PARTICIPANT!! 

Trunk or Treat is on Sunday, October 29. More information is at the bottom of this Update! 

On Tuesday, November 7, our community will vote on the Our Kids, Our Community, Our Future Bond Proposal. If approved, the bond proposal would provide $258 million for improvements to our district, with approximately $5.4 million for our school, while expecting to maintain the current tax rate of 5.5 mills. We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
