Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (11/4)

Happy Friday! I can’t believe it’s already November. This year is flying by!

Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night! Enjoy your extra hour of sleep!! (If your kids let you actually sleep an extra hour, I'm envious!!)

Our Hutchings Canned Food Drive begins next week! Each class that donates 200 or more items earns a movie/electronics day in their classroom! So 200 items is our goal! However, the class who donates the highest amount of items to the food drive will be treated to an extra prize! The winning class will choose between a pizza party or silly string party! We will also have Spirit Days along the way! See below or click the link above for more info.

Please see the sign-up for items needed for a few projects we're doing in November. There are a few items still needed. Thank you in advance for your donations!

Our November Book Orders came home yesterday! Orders are due online by Thursday, November 10, at noon. If you would like to order books for Christmas gifts, please let me know and I'll keep them aside for you to pick up in the office! Books make great gifts!  clubs.scholastic.com class code GZKBK

We are in need of individually wrapped nut-free snacks for our classroom. Thank you in advance for your donations!! Also, we still need plastic grocery bags. I use them to re-stuff our bean bags and they're getting pretty flat. Thank you!!
