Happy Friday!! By now you have received communication from Dr. Chalfant about our trip to the principal's office! It was so fun to visit his office and learn more about our new principal!
We have had such a fun first week of school! We've been working on classroom community and getting to know one another the last few days.
We read about how our class is a family and talked about the many ways that we work together like a family in our classroom community! We did some team building activities to help students learn each other's names and get to know one another a little better!
We will continue working on community and teamwork next week, while also starting to jump into a little bit of content here and there. Ask your kiddos about their writing and paws (on lockers)!

*Please note that we don't celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade. You are welcome to send in a pencil or small trinket for your child to pass out if you'd like, but please do not send food/candy. I will make your child's day special regardless! Thank you for understanding!
