Mrs. Burch’s Weekly Update (3/14)

Happy Friday! We had a busy week!! Book orders came home yesterday. Please make sure to submit all orders by Thursday at noon!

We had a lot of fun at the Into the Woods, Jr. field trip this past Tuesday! And our second graders planted their mini greenhouses on Wednesday. They loved playing in the dirt! Ms. Miller took a lot of pics for us! Check out the pictures!

There will be a Used Book Sale in the Library the week of March 17 during our library time, which has been switched to Thursday this week. Books will be 25 cents and students will be able to purchase up to four books. So if your child is interested in purchasing books, please send them with no more than $1 on Thursday. Thank you!

• I am still looking for a parent representative to attend PTO meetings. Please let me know if you are willing to serve in this capacity! 
• If you would like to volunteer in our classroom this year, please make sure you have filled out all the paperwork and have been cleared in the office before signing up! Here is the sign-up for Classroom Volunteers! 
• Please note: We do not celebrate birthdays with edible treats in 2nd grade. You are welcome to send in a pencil, small toy, or trinket for your child to pass out, if you wish! We will make sure their day is special regardless! 🎉
