Happy Thursday! I will be out tomorrow, so please contact the office with end of the day transportation changes. Thank you!
We are completly out of individually wrapped snacks for our morning snack pantry. If you are interested in sending in snacks for our supply, nut-free items like goldfish, pretzels, fruit snacks, granola bars, etc. would be appreciated! I also added some supplies to our Classroom Wish List for Halloween crafts. Thank you in advance for your donations!
Fall Parent/Teacher conferences are on Thursday, October 26 and Thursday, November 2. Please sign-up at this link for your child's conference. You will have the choice of a virtual or in-person conference. There is one slot available for each student. If you co-parent, please make sure both parents can attend the selected time before you sign up. Thank you! I look forward to meeting with you!
PTO is hosting Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 29. More information is at the bottom of this Update!
On Tuesday, November 7, our community will vote on the Our Kids, Our Community, Our Future Bond Proposal. If approved, the bond proposal would provide $258 million for improvements to our district, with approximately $5.4 million for our school, while expecting to maintain the current tax rate of 5.5 mills. Please take a few minutes to visit https://bit.ly/3qK4TUq to learn about the upgrades Hutchings would see if the bond is approved. To learn more about the bond proposal, please visit HowellSchools.com/Bond. Please remember to vote on November 7 on the Our Kids, Our Community, Our Future Bond Proposal.

Please don't forget:
We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
