Mrs. Burch's Weekly Update (11/18)

PLEASE make sure your child brings their winter gear each day, along with a change of shoes! The snow is here, like it or not! :)

Our Hutchings Canned Food Drive has begun! Each class that donates 200 or more items earns a movie/electronics day in their classroom! So 200 items is our goal! However, the class who donates the highest amount of items to the food drive will be treated to an extra prize! The winning class will choose between a pizza party or silly string party! We will also have Spirit Days along the way! See below or click the link above for more info.

We are in need of individually wrapped nut-free snacks for our classroom. Thank you in advance for your donations!! Also, we still need plastic grocery bags. I use them to re-stuff our bean bags and they're getting pretty flat. Thank you!!

Important Dates:

*November 23-25--No School, Thanksgiving Break!
*December 6--Late Start day (school begins at 10:15am)
        *December 22-January 3--Holiday Break!

Don't forget:

We celebrate birthdays with non-edible treats in 2nd grade due to numerous allergies! Items like pencils, erasers, and small trinkets are great items for treats! I will still make sure we sing and make your child's day special. Thank you for your cooperation!
